甲醇发动机正时链条磨损失效分析与工艺改进

摘要:甲醇发动机正时链条磨损伸长的问题频发,本研究采用动态测试、耐磨试验和浸泡试验的方法,旨在找到甲醇发动机正时链条磨损伸长的主要原因和解决方案。动态测试结果显示,甲醇发动机正时链条的受力与同排量汽油发动机正时链条受力没有明显差异,不是导致链条磨损伸长的主要原因。耐磨试验和浸泡试验结果显示,甲醇不充分燃烧后,产生的甲酸和未燃甲醇降低机油粘度,导致销轴和套筒之间不能建立足够厚度的润滑油膜,且甲酸会腐蚀加剧销轴和套筒之间摩擦副的磨损,是正时链条磨损伸长的主要原因。在销轴表面处理过程中,采用NH4I作为催化剂和渗剂中添加SiO2的方法能改善销轴表面粗糙度和抗腐蚀性能,提升销轴耐磨性能。

Failure Analysis and Process Improvement of Timing Chain of Methanol Engine

Abstract:The wear and elongation of the methanol engine timing chain occur frequently. This study adopts the methods of dynamic test, wear test and immersion test to find out the main causes and solutions to these problems. The result of dynamic test shows that there is no significant difference in force between the methanol engine timing chain and the gasoline engine chain with the same displacement. So force is not the main cause of the problem. According to the results of wear test and immersion test, we found that the formic acid and unburned methanol produced by the incomplete combustion of the methanol reduce the viscosity of the oil, which results that the lubrication oil film between pin and bush is not thick enough. Meanwhile the formic acid will corrode the surface of the pin and bush and increase the wear. It is the main cause for the wear and elongation of the timing chain. In the process of pin surface treatment, we suggest to use NH4I as a catalyst and to add SiO2 into infiltrating agent,  which can improve the surface roughness and corrosion resistance of the pin, so as to improve the wear resistance.
