湍流等离子体发生器的结构设计与实验研究

摘要:基于等离子体发生器结构设计理论,介绍了自制湍流等离子体发生器结构设计要点,通过LabVIEW虚拟仪器技术、MATLAB软件、电路设计与数据采集技术设计了一套诊断系统,然后利用该系统对湍流等离子体发生器的射流特性进行了实验研究。实验结果表明:通过增加中间电极的数量并限制其长度能够有效抑制双弧现象,不仅提高了等离子体发生器的工作功率,而且有利于提高湍流等离子体发生器的使用寿命;在满足U*(z)>ΔU(z)的情况下,限制阳极轴向尺寸可以避免大尺度分流现象,从而提高湍流等离子体发生器的射流稳定性;此外,工作条件的变化会对等离子体射流特性产生明显的影响。

Structural Design and Experimental Study of a Turbulent Plasma Torch

Abstract:On the basis of the structural design theory of the plasma torch, the structural design key points of a homemade turbulent plasma torch are discussed in detail. A diagnostic system is designed through the LabVIEW virtual instrument technology, the MATLAB software, the design of the circuit and data acquisition technology. Then the jet characteristics of the turbulent plasma torch are experimentally studied with this system. The experimental results show that: the double-arc phenomenon could be effectively suppressed by increasing the number of the intermediate electrodes and limiting their axial length, which could not only improve the working power of the plasma torch but also prolong the service life of the turbulent plasma torch; under the condition of U*(z)>DU(z), the large-scale shunting phenomenon could be avoided by limiting the axial length of the anode, which could improve the jet stability of the turbulent plasma torch; besides, the jet characteristics of the plasma torch could be influenced obviously by the working conditions.
