表面结构致摩擦力负增长的实验研究

摘要:以控制摩擦力变化为目的,通过3D打印制备尼龙试件,模拟具有特殊结构的接触面,研究相对滑动中摩擦力随接触压力的变化关系。实验中对两种试件在干摩擦滑动条件下的接触压力和摩擦力进行了测试,结果分析表明:对于具有特殊结构的接触面,摩擦力和接触压力之间的关系总体上满足库仑摩擦定律,但由于滑动中表面结构受力变形会引起接触面积发生变化,当接触压力在特定范围内变化时,摩擦力会随着接触压力的增大而减小。表面结构设计对实现摩擦力调控具有参考意义,可应用于仿生机器人设计和其它工程实践中。

Experimental Study on the Negative Growth of Friction Caused by Surface Structure

Abstract: In order to get control of the friction, a study on the relationship between the contact pressure and the friction force in relative slipping was conducted by using the 3D printed nylon specimens which mimic the surfaces with specifically designed structures. In the experiment, two types of specimens were tested under the condition of dry friction. The analyses of the results indicate that the relationship between the friction and the contact pressure obeys Coulomb friction law. However, if the contact pressure varies in a certain range, the phenomenon that the friction force decreases as the contact pressure increases may occur, because the deformation of the surface structure subject to contact forces may cause the change of contact area. Specifically designed structure is meaningful to friction manipulation and the findings can be applied to the design of bionic robots and other practical engineering.
